After Christmas Special

So, this morning, we woke up, got ready and went to the church for a "world championship." YIKES! We joined the Weidmers and a few of Emily's siblings for some "friendly" games of volleyball. Um, apparently "friendly" is a wee bit of a stretch since I almost got decapitated about a half dozen times! It was a blast!!! Her family is so fun and everyone was so nice, even when I screamed and didn't move when the ball was clearly in "my area." Whoops a daisy! But, I have proof that I did actually hit the ball a few times... bruises that are hurting me!! So fun!

After that, we went to Jeremy's parents house for dinner and bingo. We ate yummy ham and funeral potatoes. Then, we played bingo. It was a lot of fun. The kids really got into it. We need to work a little harder on not breaking into tears every time they lose, though. Daddy won twice!! Jacks won once, too. It was a really fun night!

Jeremy has been home the last two days and we have one more with him. The last two days have been perfect. The kids haven't fought, at all. They have been so fun to be around. We have spent every minute as a family. We are so grateful.
