Christmas is over for another year. The girls go home tonight. Memories are just that...memories. The kids are still loving their new treasures... costumes, nerf guns, transformers, army guys, firetrucks and red dragons, books galore, and movies. The candy is pretty much gone and there are just a few treats that mom and dad have hidden away... The snow is falling today and the kids have already bundled up and made plenty of snow angels. Hot chocolate, with candy canes, has been served. Bodies are warm and cozy again.
Uncle Jared's Wii has been played, perhaps in excess.
The house has been cleaned and cleaned again.
We are still a family.
It has been a good week. One of the best.
