Wednesday

Wednesday morning started off VERY rough. I had to physically pull my kids out of the car when we got to school. When I got to work, I was exhausted. Birdie's husband, N, sat with me for quite sometime and just listened, then offered counsel. That poor, poor man! Then, he handed me a homemade loaf of bread from Birdie. It made my heart feel good.
When I left work, my amazing VP handed me an envelope with some cash for my boys. So, when I picked the kids up from school, we headed right to the store and got them a new pair of shoes!! Ryan had bought Colton a new pair earlier in the day, so it was just for the three older kids. We smiled, we laughed, we had fun, we were a team! Thank VP!!
We got home and I unpacked my bathroom stuff and moved games downstairs. In the process, I fell down the stairs and I was hurt. Not my back! (Good job Heidi) It was my foot. I called my dad, then my mom and my kids got ready for a trip to InstaCare. My dad had to carry me in - that's funny, people! I had the GREATEST doctor!! Duncan was his name. He gave me ice, took a picture of me AND I got new shoes TOO!!! Well, just one new shoe... a walking cast boot. Whoops. I chipped the top bone of my left foot right off! It hurts. A lot. But, the boys and I were able to laugh about it.
Jackson and I received a blessing last night. It was wonderful... and it was our goal for the day.
Also, I applied for health insurance, switched my direct deposit, and my automatic out. It was a successful day.
