Oh, so tired...

Jeremy did night duty with Gunner the first night, so I did night duty last night. After thirty minutes of crying in his kennel, he slept for two hours in it, then it was on my lap for the rest of the night. Could have been worse. Jer and I are oh, so tired.

Jeremy took the boys swimming this afternoon so that I could lay on my heating pad. Of course, Gunner was on my lap, which is fine. The boys had a blast, and I am so glad that the Weidmers were there for them to play with!

Gunner is struggling quite a bit with separation anxiety. He thinks that Mommy should be holding him all of the time, which is fine, except that next Tuesday, Mommy goes back to work. It ought to be very interesting. Thankfully, Jeremy is the best and took him for a few hours tonight to give me a break.

We love him. We love having him in our family. We will get through these hard days and nights!
