Gratitude Tree

This year, for the month of November, I decided to make a Gratitude Tree. The kids have added a gratitude leaf each morning before going to school.
They have written down things like "Mom", "Dad", "Church", "Home", "Food", their siblings names (miracle), "Bed", "Toys", and "Family."
It's been a good activity, one that I will probably do every year. I think that it's really important that our kids remember how blessed they are. The holidays tend to be about "getting" and it's been good for them to focus on how blessed they already are.
On a side note...we just barely put our pumpkins outside this week. I am laughing a little out loud. These pumpkins came out of Grandma and Grandpa's garden, which makes it even more cool for the kids.
Enjoy!
