Weird, Weird Day!!

Today, September 25, 2009, my dad got married. WEIRD! Up until a few weeks ago, he was married to my mom. Actually, they have been separated for about a year and a half, but it's still weird. I never thought that my parents would ever not be married. I never thought that my dad would have a different wife. I never thought that I would technically have a step-mom. I have never met her, but she has two sons, so technically I am also a step-sister. It's weird. Very, very weird.

My sweet mom took the boys to sleep over tonight. I needed a diversion, something different, like a date with my husband. We haven't done that for a little while now. We went to dinner. It was delicious and very, very high in calories. Weird! SO yummy! Then we went window shopping. We rock at window shopping! Then we watched a movie. We watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It's weird how movies like that make me think.

I miss the boys when they aren't here. Weird! Like, I miss hearing them yell at each other, I miss having Colton come ask Jeremy 1,278 times when it's bedtime, I miss having Kaydon come and just lay on Jeremy and I miss goodnight kisses before they go upstairs. I miss them. Weird!
