1. Yankees
My Yankees are done for the year. No more looking at Derek Jeter until next Spring. The Rangers definitely handed them their walking papers in a miserable-for-a-Yankees-fan fashion! Maybe next year...

2. BYU
Way to win a game! We had a blast at the game on Saturday. It even stayed pretty dry. The highlights for me were: Seeing the Wyoming fan without pants on... only wearing a plastic barrel and suspenders. Watching the male cheerleaders collide when they were supposed to be handing over the flags and one crashing to the ground and then laughing so hard he couldn't get back up. Doing the "wave." That never gets old! Getting free blankets and backpacks at the tailgate party! Eating the whole bag of kettle corn!!!

3. UFC
There are about five fighters in the UFC who I REALLY don't like. Three of them fought on Saturday night. Here was the outcome:
1. Tito Ortiz got BEAT DOWN by Matt Hamill. BRAVO!!!!!
2. Diego Sanchez beat Paulo Thiago. Although I don't like Diego, he deserved to win that fight and I was ultra impressed by him. Even though I still think he is a weirdo (and he is!), he won some bonus points in my book. Diego - let's be friends!
3. Brock Lesnar got KNOCKED OUT by Cain Velasquez. I can't adequately tell you how happy I was/am/will forever be about that!!!! KNOCKED OUT!!! Down, boy, down!!! Heel boy! You got BEAT!!! Sorry, cheers to Cain Velasquez... the first Mexican Champion in the heavy weight division... Mommy likey!!!
