Freaking Thankful Friday

Did you notice how clever it was of me to add the word "freaking" because it starts with an "f" just like the word "Friday" so it all goes together like a well-crafted quilt??? Anywho...

I am freaking thankful on this Friday, so I am going to tell you about it!
1. I am thankful for this bouquet of flowers which showed up at my office yesterday morning. When the girl walked in carrying them, I explained to her that i was the only one here for the rest of the week, so she would have to deliver them another time. She looked at me and said, "UH! They're for YOU!" Oh, well fancy my fancy!!! They were for me, friends!!! And, they are beautiful!
2. I am thankful for my next door neighbor, who seems to find JOY in helping me unload groceries. He is terrrrrrrrific!
3. I am thankful for my bishop who calls me in the afternoon on his way home just to ask me how I am doing and what I need. Really?!?! Really!!! He IS that great! I am quite a fan of his wife and daughter, too. I might claim them as my own in the here-after. FYI.
4. I am thankful for Miss Birdie, who introduced me to Mindy Gledhill music yesterday. OH. MY. GOSH. I played one song in particular, "All About The Heart," approximately 17 times in the span of one hour.
5. I am thankful for the call from my boy's new school yesterday, just to tell me that I am a GREAT MOM for holding them all back a year!!! Boo-Yah!!! I knew it wasn't a stupid decision!!! I would say "in-your-face" to those of you who have been not-so-nice to me about that choice, but instead I will just say "Boo-Yah" one more time because I really like the sound of it!

What are you freaking thankful for on this Friday?!

  2. I love reading your blog Heidi!!

And no negative comments from me for holding your boys back, I did the same with Miya. She turned 7 on July 28th and just started 1st grade! I would much, much rather her be the oldest than the very youngest, especially once they start middle school and high school. So good job Heidi for doing what YOU felt was right to do! :)
