Yesterday, as soon as I got home, started a load of laundry and changed my clothes, I rounded up $10 in quarters and told the quorum to get their walking shoes on. They rolled their eyes. I rolled mine right back at them. Then, we took off on a two mile walk... to the sno cone stand!! I kept hearing, "How much further?" "Mom, I am growing and my feet can't handle this!" "Mom, are you OUT OF YOUR MIND?"
Why, yes, yes I am. He He. We made it to the sno cone stand. We made our own cups of delight...
...Then, we found a new park to play at on our way home. It was beautiful and quiet and full of extra big trees! It was super fun.
The night ended with a free movie rental and loads of popcorn...
