A VERY special dog...

... named Gunner Bo Manwell lives at our house.
He has managed to destroy quite a few things in or around our house.
Floor rugs, friends pants, friends shoes, friends shirts, our shoes, our pants, our shirts, toys, barbeque covers, slip and slides, more toys...
You get the picture.
He is naughty.
Which is why he fits in perfectly at our house.
He loves to be outside.
He has been sleeping on what used to be the black barbeque cover.
You know, the one I got for Jeremy for Christmas.
He has found a rope.
Heaven only knows where that rope may have come from.
If it used to belong to any of our neighbors, sorry.
Whoops a daisy.
He likes to sit like Lady, on Lady and the Tramp, with the rope in his mouth. It hangs out of his mouth on both sides, as he sits pretty.
On Saturday, there was some sort of something happening outside in the neighborhood. ALL of the neighborhood dogs were barking. ALL of them, except Gunner.
You see, Gunner is clearly not a watch dog... or a protector of any kind.
As the other dogs barked, obviously to protect their owners, Gunner looked around (perhaps wondering what the commotion was all about) and then just sat and looked pretty with the rope in his mouth.
I shook my head as I wondered if he thought he would leave the protecting up to his good friends in the neighborhood while he just sat pretty.
Thanks Gunner! You're a real great dog! Don't worry, we'll take care of everything. You just sit there and look real pretty.
