My memories of the Olympics this year are:1. Lindsay Vohn talking to her husband after winning her gold medal in downhill skiiing
2. Scott Hamilton weeping after watching Joannie Rochette skate for bronze after the death of her mom
3. Bode Miller redeeming himself, winning medals, and talking about his little girl
4. USA winning gold in four-man bobsled for the first time in 62 years
5. USA men's and women's hockey teams coming up short to Canada in hockey
6. Shaun White celebrating with his parents after winning gold in snowboarding
7. Apollo Ohno winning 8 medals, and his dad sitting in the stands for all of it
8. Becomming a huge fan of ski cross and all of it's craziness
9. Watching curling and not understanding a thing about it
10. Watching dreams come true, and others not, after so much hard work on both the athletes part and their families.
The Olympics are an amazing visual every two years! They are a reminder that hard work and perseverance DO pay off, no matter the situation!
