Rich "Ace" Franklin

October 29th has been marked on the calendar for quite some time now. "Rich Franklin at Best Buy," Jer wrote on the calendar for me. I wasn't sure if I was going to be up for it, until about 4:30! The boys and I got to Best Buy at about 4:45. Rich was supposed to be there at 6:00! That's right. I was EARLY! The boys sat on the floor and watched a movie. We were the first in line, if you didn't guess that already. They were SO good, really. I am pretty sure they hate my guts, but they were really good.

At about 6:05, he came walking out! I got really giddy! He walked up and said that he couldn't believe we had been waiting for an hour and a half. (Neither could my kids) I started talking some mumbo jumbo with a great big smile on my face. Kaydon said, "Oh, Mom, this is really embarrassing!" Braxton said, "Yeah, she really IS your biggest fan!" Jackson said, "Yeah, we have been standing here for QUITE some time." Colton said, "Can you sign me up?!?!" That, interpreted was "Can you sign this for me?"
People, it was RICH "ACE" FRANKLIN! In the flesh! He put his arm around me. I then blurted out, "I think I might pass out." Awesome. Great job Heidi. I asked him if we could take a picture. He was like, "Heidi, I am here until 8:00, we can do whatever you want to do." Then I am pretty sure I blurted out somemore mumbo jumbo. It was classic.
