October 24th- Game Day! We started the day around noon with our friends B & E Dub. We had a yummy lunch at Fuddruckers and then hit a few retail stores to find E Dub the perfect BYU shirt. Then, off to the game we went. It was raining and a little chilly about two hours before the game, but the weather was actually great when the game started.

So, BYU played horribly...like REALLY bad. But, we still had a blast...until about 9:20 p.m. That is when someone decided to hit the Dub's van that we were all riding in. The picture below is a picture of the one blue light from the officer's car.
The picture below illustrates what happened to us. This is the three injured folk at IMC. Yes, it sucks. E Dub has BAD whiplash and is very happily on medication for the pain. B Dub is VERY stiff and also has happy pills for his pain. I re-injured my back and am on a whole lot of steroids in order to look like Optimus Prime in about a week flat. Jeremy (the only one NOT wearing his seat belt) came away with not one ache or pain.
B Dub, quite accurately, describes this picture of the three of us as something that you would see on the television show "Jackass." I would have to agree. Nevertheless, it was a blast!
I hope you guys are okay... I do love the picture of all of you in matching neck braces; it's a classic!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I am so sorry you got in ANOTHER car accident! Didn't you just pass the anniversary of your original car accident? And I'm sorry the Coug's lost too. Double bummer. I feel so sorry for you in the last pic with your neck braces. Please tell me your back injuries aren't as awful as the first one's.
