Dear Love-

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining me on our adventure tonight. I realize that after going to Target, Rue21, some other no-name store, Sears, Kohls, Old Navy and TJ Maxx, you were irritated with my whining. I am a big whiner, I know. I knew exactly what I wanted and NO ONE had it! Ugh. However, things turned around when we entered Maurices. I had never heard of this store...probably because they don't have clearance racks. As soon as we walked in, I thought it's hopeless!! However, you handed me a couple of things to go try on and then you went to do your magic... You came back with a skirt...a VERY cute skirt. I had it on for quite some time, without you returning with the "shirts" you had mentioned. So, I kept the skirt on and walked out with my t-shirt on. You were stripping down the mannequin, which you had picked up and carried to the cash register!! Wait, allow me to take a moment...you literally picked up the mannequin, carried it to the cash register under your arm and asked the lady if she had a smaller version of the top which the mannequin was wearing. Then you took it off the mannequin, handed it to me and told me to go try it on. It was one of the most romantic things that you have ever done for me!! Granted, it did clear out the store and any hope of customers for the night. But honey, we got me an outfit for the baptisms!!!! ROCK ON!!!! And, for bonus points, they were 50% off!!!!!! I love you, Maurices, and that decapitated mannequin which allowed you to fondle her!!!
