Heidi's version of the 4th...

Below my post, is Jeremy's version of today...it is definitely worth the read! VERY accurate...I just like to add pictures to mine :) Today was the BEST day ever! We really did have set plans for the entire day. We did NONE of them...but still had a great time. We woke up late...went to breakfast at noon. We planned on going to the carnival (after the parade which we slept through), opted to go to the Magna parade instead! WELL WORTH THE TRIP!! Never seen so many people quite like that before. Only saw about five tractors then the parade was over. Didn't know what to do after that, so went grocery shopping. That's always fun. Didn't know what to do after that, so Jer set up the slip 'n slide. SO FUN!!!

Bought food at Maceys to have a barbeque...decided not to when we were done with the slip n slide...opted to go to Subway instead. Then thought it would be a blast to go over to the Park, where everyone in the world was...Sat up our camping chairs, ate our sandwiches and watched the boys play...all in their matching red shirts so we wouldn't lose anyone...like all of you haven't thought of that brilliant idea before :)
After that, we waited for the movie in the park. It was BARNYARD tonight. Cutest movie EVER! So, we sat and watched that and then the fireworks...actually most of us watched it. Kaydon slept through it. Colton wanted to. We all wanted Jackson to, but he never did fall asleep. Brax just sat there happily cuddled in the ONE blanket that they were all sharing...THE END...
Oh wait...we got home. Colton thought we were on Mars...he fell asleep in the parking lot at the park. I went upstairs to tuck everyone in and Colton was sound asleep on his floor still dressed. Kaydon was sound asleep on his bed, face down on the toys he had left on his bed, fully dressed, with shoes still on...We took care of that, got kids in bed...happy day... THE END.

  1. I suggested a long length of chain with ankle shackles every eight feet instead of the matching T-shirts. I honestly wonder which would have the strongest psychological impact on the boys when they're older. ;)
