Kaydon is SO great. He is so different from the other five kids. He is just his own person...and we LOVE him for it. Kaydon had a field trip today to the zoo. FUN! Except that Kaydon did NOT want to go. He could not go to sleep last night. He got up and came downstairs looking for Jeremy, who of course was on his way to Idaho. He laid in the hallway talking to Jeremy on the phone asking him why he couldn't go to the zoo with him. SAD. Then he plopped himself in our bed on Jeremy's side and went to sleep. He woke up this morning and Jackson was SUCH a good big brother. He helped him get his stuff together for the zoo. He walked him into the school and stayed with him until it was time to go. I went to work. Around 1ish, Uncle Brandon calls wondering where he is because he sure isn't at the school. I told him to go into the office. OH, THE BUS WAS IN AN ACCIDENT! Awesome. What went through my mind, you ask... BAD BAD BAD MOM!!!! That's right folks, a car rear ended Kaydon's bus on the way home from the zoo.
Lucky for us...and in the spirit of Kaydon...he LOVED it! He thought it was super! Two cops showed up...what could be better?!?!? (He gets that from me!) He had a great time. He told us the lions were all dead, but the penguins are still kickin'! He LOVED his lunch full of junk food. He loved the extra long ride on the bus. He had a GREAT DAY!!! Love that kid!
