Just Me and My Thoughts...

Thought #1: I LOVE our ward. I love the fun games Kieran does with the primary kids to get them to sing. I love that Joshie says funny things out loud in the middle of Sacrament meeting. I love that our Bishop says really silly things from the pulpit. I love that so many of us are friends and that we love eachother's guts! I love that Emmer made bows for my girls and that Joanie LOVES my family SO MUCH and that Dianne winks at me during Sacrament meeting. I LOVE our ward.
Thought #2: It's back to the real world this week... Back to work for Jer and I. Back on track for the boys. Back to watching kids for Grandpa and Grandma. Back to busy days and nights for us. It makes me grateful for the little breaks that we get now and then, but it also makes me grateful that we have the ability to go back to real life. So many people WISH that they had jobs to go to and WISH that they had schools for their kids to go to. We are blessed.
Thought #3: Choices. Life is full of choices. Sometimes I think the hardest choices are the ones that others need to make, that we can't make for them...that we just need to sit back and wait for. Those are hard for me, at least. Choices are on my mind tonight.
Thought #4: Tonight, my back feels good. It really does. Tonight, my babies are all sleeping good. Really good. Tonight my house is keeping me warm and comfortable. Really cozy. Tonight, I talked to my mom. Really comforting. Tonight, I ate ice cream with granola. Really yummy. Tonight, I am grateful for the article in the Ensign about the three sisters...I consider myself Hope. I really do. I really, really do.

  1. I really do try to do fun things. I'm just glad you weren't there last Sunday... I bombed horribly. I guess it's okay for everyone to have non perfect moments every once in awhile. I'm learning to be okay with it.
I really did love that article. It made me think which one I was, and then by then I was glad to have all of them in me. I am so grateful for wonderful things to read.
I hope you have a good week, and look for something to show up for you... you know, because I love you and you are totally worth it!

  2. Your thought #1 made me cry.

Not because we don't have a good ward here, but because we had a REALLY GREAT ward in West Jordan. Thank you for recognizing such a wonderful thing to be grateful for. You truly see the little things that are so nice to appreciate.

Thank you Heidi for you thoughts.
