So, for those of you who know me, People.com is about as much reading as I do when I am not reading with my kids. So What?! Anywho, while I was healing from my surgery, my mom brought me sTORI Telling, a book written by Tori Spelling. It was somethin' else, I tell ya! I was fascinated that people can think so much about themselves...anyway, I didn't want to finish the book. There were parts of it that were just really hard for me to read...but Jeremy really encouraged me to finish it. I did and within five minutes started reading another book that I checked out from the library...that's right, I have my OWN library card. So big! So what if it's for ages 6-10...I figured that was right up my avenue! The title is The Hundred Dresses. Talk about a difference between those two books! It was beautiful! It's one of those books that made me think about how I act in my everyday life...do I offend people, do I make people feel better than they did before they saw or talked to me, do I make people feel bad about themselves?? I know that I am surrounded by people, who everyday, make me feel like I am a Daughter of God, and that He is thinking about me. I want to be someone who does the same for others...it was a good lesson, unexpected lesson, but a really important lesson to be reminded of...
