Day after surgery. Neither one of us got any sleep, because of the constant moving around trying to get comfortable and listening to Kaydon cough all night. Heidi woke up to a empty house today, my little plan of taking the two youngest away so hopefully she could get some sleep. When we got home she was up and preparing to walk down the stairs, hello. That's how we got to surgery number 2. She is a big girl today, ate breakfast in bed, took her meds, then took a shower by herself. Of course, I was close by just in case. Hopefully today she can get some rest or nap so that her body can heal. She is moving more and quicker than the last surgery so that's a good sign. She loves all the comments on her blog and on facebook. I am still her scribe, so if there isn't anything that you want me (Jeremy, the hot home nurse) to read then you will have to wait to talk to her in person :) Seriously though, she is very grateful for her friends and family, even the noisy kids running around the house. She hopes to be out walking outside by tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed.
